A major Bush rule gets scrapped by Obama

(CNN) — It’s the same Oval Office. The same desk. Even the same curtains. But President Obama has already made one major change: Go through eight years of White House photos, and you won’t find one of former President Bush in the Oval Office without his jacket on.

It wasn’t just a personal preference. In the Bush administration, it was a rule: Jackets in the Oval Office — and now, it seems, one of the first Bush-era regulations to get scrapped in the Obama White House.

The McConnell family says goodbye to Mr. President.

Jennifer let everyone know that President Bush was about to say goodbye to the nation – every kid jumped up and ran for the living room.  They all sat around in silence and listened to every word that President Bush had to say.  There have clearly been ups and downs the past few years, but there have also been very difficult decisions to make.  Several of the kids (yes, boys and girls) had teary eyes as he said goodbye and the entire family clapped at the end of his speech.  Normally the boys do not clap for anyone or anything, so to see them clap for the President was pretty significant.  Mr. President, I would not want your job in a million years and I am very thankful that you were courageous enough to step up and do the job.  Mr. President, my family salutes you.

We look to the next 4 years with much curiosity and high expectations.

As most of you have heard, Presidential hopeful Barrack Obama made some ‘interesting’ comments of late. Those comments have been on every TV channel, newspaper, and magazine across the nation.
